First Quebecer as a Sibelius User Certified

In order to add another string to my specialized teaching bow, I went to the Commercial Music Lab, located in suburban Los Angeles, to obtain my Sibelius User Certification from Avid.

Jennifer M. Amaya was an awesome teacher. The program was made up of two courses: Sibelius 101 and for the Certification, Sibelius 110. Jenny told me, “I think it is safe to say you are amongst the first to earn Sibelius User Certification in the U.S. and Canada.” As it turns out, I actually am the first to receive the Sibelius User Certified in Quebec.

I would like to salute my classmates: Lance Kuyper, Music Department’s Adjunct Professor at University of La Verne; James Wright, baritone singer and composer in California, and Jeremiah Ellison, Avid’s Applications Specialist and Sales Americas App Specialists ProAudio. Also present on the last two days of instruction, but not on the picture, Thomas Robinson, a young student from the Perris area in California.
