Yesterday night in Saint-Jérôme, the young pianist Philippe Prud'Homme made the world premiere of my piano piece Duel. I was there with my wife. Philippe took it off with flying colors. He told me his intention of making a recording of it for a futur demo after Hollydays. His program was quite ambitious. We have to realize that Philippe has barely six years of piano behind him at age 18. Still he shows mastery and great musicality. Check him out in the future.

Hier soir à Saint-Jérôme, le jeune pianiste Philippe Prud'Homme a créé ma pièce pour piano Duel. Ma conjointe m'accompagnait pour l'occasion. Philippe s'en est bien tiré pour une première non seulement publique, mais pour une création. Il m'a fait part de son intention d'enregistrer la pièce après les fêtes pour une maquette. Son programme était très ambitieux. Il faut réaliser qu'à l'âge de 18 ans, Philippe fait preuve, avec à peine six ans de piano derrière lui, d'une grande maîtrise et d'une musicalité indéniable. Il faudra le surveiller de près.
