The Interpretation portion of the first edition of the Quebec music composition concours of CMC Québec presented by Québecor has choosen a winner.
Presso, for piano by Denis Dion was the set piece.
The choice of the set piece was the result of the Composition portion of the concours. I was the finalist with my pice Allez, viens!
The young pianist winners, for the artistic quality or their performance of Presso, are Gianpiero Teolis – 16 years old (first prize of 500$) and Emmanuel Eustache- 16 years old – (second prize of 250$). Gianpiero will have the opportunity to present Presso at the next congress of the Fédération des associations de musiciens éducateurs du Québec (FAMEQ) Fall 2013 in Sherbrooke.
